Terms of Service

The collection of visa applications at TLScontact centers is a service provided by TLS Contact Tunisia (hereinafter referred to as "TLScontact", "we", "us" or "our"), registered under number 1236381/R and having its registered office at Immeuble Majda, rue de la feuille d'érable, les berges du Lac 2, 1053, Tunis, Tunisia.

TLScontact is a service provider appointed and authorized by the Embassy of Germany in Tunisia to operate TLScontact Visa Application Collection Centers at its designated premises (referred to as "Visa Application Collection Center" or "Visa Centre" ) and on the TLScontact website.

These terms and conditions are applicable to all services (hereinafter referred to as "service" or "services") offered by TLScontact on behalf of the German Embassy in Tunisia or on its own behalf to persons (hereinafter referred to as " applicant", "applicants", "client", "you", "your" or "yours") who wish to submit a visa application to the German Embassy through TLScontact and the possible provision of information from TLScontact about this visa application.

These terms and conditions apply, without limitation and depending on the nature of your visa application, to the following:

• The registration of the applicant on the TLScontact website in order to create an account;
• The making of an appointment by the applicant in order to file a visa application;
• Confirmation by TLScontact of the applicant's appointment;
• The presence of the applicant at the appointment at the visa center in order to submit the visa application to TLScontact;
• The collection of necessary biometric data, if necessary, by the German Embassy;
• Payment of visa application fees;
• The filing and transport by TLScontact (or any TLScontact subcontractor) to the German Embassy of the visa application and any additional documents;
• The transfer of all these documents from the German Embassy to TLScontact in order to return the travel document and any other additional documents, if any, to the applicant;
• The provision by TLScontact of optional services in addition to that of collecting your visa application (hereinafter referred to as "Additional Services") to facilitate the submission of your visa application.

These Terms and Conditions shall constitute the contract governing the provision of Services to the Applicant by TLScontact. You hereby acknowledge and confirm, before submitting your visa application, that you have read, understood and accepted, without limitation or reservation, these general conditions.

You can access these general conditions at any time on the TLScontact website in order to consult them. All amendments, modifications, additions or deletions which may from time to time be made to these terms and conditions will be published on the TLScontact website. These modified terms and conditions, as displayed on the TLScontact website, will prevail over any previous version and any other conflicting document.

Unless there is clear evidence to the contrary, the data recorded in the TLScontact information system will constitute proof of all transactions concluded by the applicant with TLScontact.

These terms and conditions do not apply to any service provided or any decision made regarding your visa application by the German Embassy, ​​including the payment of your visa fee. You hereby acknowledge and agree that TLScontact is an intermediary between you and the German Embassy, ​​acting as its agent, and that no claims regarding decisions made regarding your visa application or refund of visa fees should only be sent to TLScontact.

The entity responsible for processing data collected for your visa application is "TLS Contact Tunisia".

TLScontact collects personal data from Applicants in relation to applications for Schengen visas, including information provided through printed and website application forms, passports and other documents. This information may include names, addresses, contact details, place of birth, passport details, employment details, travel details, etc.

TLScontact only requests, collects and processes personal data which is strictly required for the purposes of providing the Services subject to these terms and conditions, including but not limited for the purpose of the processing of your visa application and for the purpose of the performance of any Additional Service, which may require the sending of additional information about our Services.

You hereby consent to the collection, storage, processing and submission of your personal information by TLScontact as well as the cross-border transfer of your personal information should this be required by the visa application process with the Embassy of Germany.

You hereby consent and acknowledge that TLScontact has the right to forward your personal data to partners entrusted with the strict performance of any or all Services subject to these terms and conditions. For any service not covered by these terms and conditions which may be offered by a third party to you, TLScontact will only share your data if you agree to do so. All third party partners undertake to provide a sufficient level of protection in respect of your personal data in order to ensure the security of your personal data.

Your Personal data is also retained and processed separately by the Embassy of Germany in accordance with its data protection policies and procedures.

In accordance with applicable regulations, Applicants may have various rights with regard to the processing of their personal data, such as the right to be informed, to access, alter, rectify or erase their personal data, or to object and restrict processing of their personal data as well as on data portability.

These rights may be exercised in accordance with the conditions and procedures set out by a privacy notice published on TLScontact website and applicable to the Visa Application Centre where Applicants place their orders.
